Sian Sofia is a singer-songwriter from Pendle, Lancashire. She has been writing songs on and off for ten years and tends to lean toward the quirky, offbeat, wonky, anti-folk tradition. Blessed with the ability to write songs with a huge emotional punch, her lyrical content ranges from heartbreak, madness, drug addiction, suicide, murder, elopement, homelessness and, most recently, being in love. Sian Sofia has performed all over the country and is now taking a break from performing to concentrate on her poetry, after playing all over the country for a number of years.
