Skies fell is a four piece, progressive, post-rock band from the west of Scotland. The band formed little over a year ago but have all known each other since childhood. They play tight, danceable beats alongside thoughtful guitar, strong hook laden vocals, melancholic piano and epic crushendo. Think Radiohead, Fleetwood Mac, Mogwai and Aereogramme. Skies Fell's first single, Contest, suggests great promise and anticipation is growing amongst bloggers all over Europe, as to when they will finally play live. Soon they will be announcing the release date of their second single, "Statues," and a string of UK dates from August to October.
