Starting his career at a young age, S.K.T entered many under 18 DJ competitions between the age of 12-17 including the "Technics DMC under 18's battle" in which he came 4th in the country. He also entered the "Radio 1 search for a DJ" (under 18's) in which he came 6th in the country. Both of theese competitions gave S.K.T alot of experience playing infront of thousands of people his age up and down the country. In 2009, S.K.T's track "Everything you do" was signed to Universal Music, he also remixed a number of tracks for artists on the label. His track "Worst of Love" was also featured on the compilation "Street Nation" by Universal that entered the national compilation charts at No.2 and went on to sell over 100,000 copies. So far, S.K.T has had around 14 independent UK-wide releases that have gained him play on BBC Radio 1, BBC 1Xtra (& sales chart positions), Kiss 100, Choice FM, BBC Manchester, Galaxy FM plus many pirates across the country aswel as features in DJ Mag and RWD Mag. Tipped as a "Rising Star" (DJ Mag) and "One of the (underground) scenes best Producers" (htfr.com) "it surely wont be long until S.K.T crosses over (into the mainstream)" (DJ Mag).
