Small Words are a happy-go-lucky 5 piece from Halifax, West Yorkshire. Formed at highschool in 2009 they have spread over their hometown like wildfire, playing ever pub and club you can find. Fronted by singer-songwriter Patrick McCallion, they are well known for their catchy tunes and cheerful vibe. Other members of the band include Matt McGregor the piano extroadinaire, Tom Kaye the indie drumming machine, John "the doctor" Finnerty shredding lead guitar and Jack Walsh on bass guitar (and hosting his bass face). After a year or so of playing cover songs with one or two of their own, they now have a number of their own songs with a pop-rock punky cheesy feel to them, which is why you just have to love them. Look out for them and their mascot Luv Duk, coming to a town near you soon.
