An early incarnation of Public Enemy who released one single on Vanguard Records in 1984. The crew were more successful with their various shows on WBAU radio, which they resigned to before finally being convinced by Rick Rubin to regroup and sign to Def Jam Records for their 1987 debut as Public Enemy.
