SQY Rocking Team is a four piece rock band from The Netherlands and Belgium. Their music can be described as hard-metal glam-rock ‘n’ roll that finds its roots in the 70s and 80s. SQY Rocking Team is known for their energetic live shows and stage performances and they have played over 700 gigs in Holland as well as abroad. In their impressive 16 years career they shared stages with famous international bands and played on several renowned festivals (Bospop 2005 and Arrow Rock Festival 2006). Their fourth full length CD “Full Throttle” was very well received and this caused an enormous media -boost. The follow up CD “Top Fuel Tendencies” continued the “Full Throttle” music style in which lots of guitars are combined with melodic harmonies. During their 10th UK-tour, SQY presented a new video to a new song called "Red Room of Fears". It is a rock song about the fear to loose all what's precious in one's life. It is robust, compelling and, in a scary way, recognisable to all who are living a prosperous life. "Red Room of Fears" is a co-production of Phoenix Music, Heretic Industries and Lighttown Media and is produced by Frans Vermast. "Red Room of Fears" is the first in a row of small projects in this setting. A video supported by a powerfull SQY song. In May 2009 SQY released their new song "Over the edge" on a USBracelet. A funny gadget which contains their brand new single and extra features. Nowadays SQY is in the studio, recording their new album!
