Stevie’s roots were laid down busking and playing floor spots at folk clubs in his native Northants. In the 90s he lived for two years in Germany, extensively gigging and spent time in Dublin, playing on the city’s fibrant open mic scene. These experiences provided him with a wealth of influences and inspiration and for the last four years he has been joined on stage by the awesome guitar skills of Mark Gill. The hard-working duo have now built up a reputation across the East Midlands as a solid live act supporting the likes of Nick Harper, Ian Mc Nabb, Slaid Cleaves and Chris Helme, plus slots at Leicesters’ top festivals Big Session and Summer Sundae, whilst hosting a number of their own successful open mic nights and showcases. Their debut album, ‘New Life’ gained good reviews and positive press/radio coverage whilst the track 'Million Miles' was voted to number two in The Weekender BBC Radio Northampton listeners' chart. An acoustic download album ‘Weather The Storm’ was released last year. They played The Big Session Festival at De Montfort Hall and Gardens on Friday June 19th headlining the Orange Tree Tent that night and followed this with a live album and DVD recording gig at the citys' prestigous venue The Musician on Sat 25th July 2009, which is due out this autumn. Stevie also played successfully with Janet Robin as she toured the UK in 2013 and 2014.
