I'm a 30 year old singer, songwriter from London, England and I've been playing guitar and writing songs since I was about 15. In that time my tastes and styles have changed countless times and eventually I've evolved into the songwriter sitting here today! Throughout my musical journey, one thing has always remained constant - me and my guitar! I write all my stuff in my room on my acoustic guitar and from there the ideas and melodies develop into the songs you hear today! There's a pretty important second person involved in the whole Stewart Mac sound and that's my producer - David Brant! We've been working together for nearly three years now. I started working with Dave on solo material in 2006 and we both seemed to know instantly the kind of sound I was looking for and luckily for me, Dave is one talented guy in the studio and was able to reproduce exactly what I was hearing in my head! We finished my album in late 2007 and since then, loads has happened... The album was released independently in the UK, I supported Bon Jovi at Twickenham stadium and now the album is about to be released across Asia through Gold Typhoon Records. My first single in Asia is an English language cover version of a song called "I Love You", which was originally a hit in Mandarin for an artist named David Tao. It's great to hear from people and see what you all think of my music, so please drop me a line...and if you like what you hear - tell all your friends!!
