Subrosa5 are a 6-piece Thames Valley band playing mod inspired power pop with a dash of 60's psychedelia and Blues. Current members are Jon Dickinson, Doug Peters, Neil Peters, Andy 'Duke' Boothroyd, Martin Pratt and Tony Bradford. Initially influenced by the shoegaze scene of the early 90's - Ride, Catherine Wheel, etc. they added some New Wave, Mod and Psychedelia to their sound through influences such as Arthur Lee, The Doors, The Jam and The Soundtrack of Our Lives. They released the All My Life EP in Summer 2006 followed by the much lauded 'Hellfire Raves' LP in Autumn 2009 - both produced by the late Rich Haines (Radiohead/Supergrass). Over the last 2 years they have continued to gig extensively having played with Mark Gardener (Ride), Tim Burgess (Charlatans), Proud Mary, Simon Townsend & Roger Daltrey. They also curate their own underground festival deep in the heart of the Notorious Hellfire Club in West Wycombe - 'The Hellfire Raves'
