Sugar Mama is a four-piece jazz-rock style band, founded in Osaka, Japan. Conceived by Yuki Hayashi and Keiichi Kondo in March 2001, after several member changes, finally solidified with the addition of Cine-raria (November 2003) and Kohichi (August 2004). Their unique style is a fusion of jazz, latin, rock and anything else that comes to hand. They are real ravenous and omnivorous for music. Deeply engaging audience city-wide with their live enthusiasm, they express an ever-changing and evolving view of the world. They like music with a drive, reworked versions of old , acoustic blues, rock 'n roll, a bit of country music..... anything that sounds simple and true to them.
