SWIMS

SWIMS is a group name used by more than one act. One SWIMS is a two-piece instrumental rock duo from Sacramento, California, built around bass and drums. That lineup features Paul Slack on four-string bass, using tapping and strumming, with Mark Rocha on drums. Their sound sits within instrumental rock and is tagged as math rock and post-rock.

Another act using the name, Swims, is a psych, indie and pop band based in Scranton, Pennsylvania. This group was formerly called The Swims. Its members are Brian Langain on vocals, guitar, synth and percussion; Claire Connelly on drums, vocals and percussion; Phillip Reynolds Price on farfisa organ, synth, theremin, vocals, percussion and piano; and Matt Walsh on bass, vocals, guitar and percussion.
