Teenage Casket Company (or TCC short)were formed by Wylde and Delerict in Nottingham,England in January 2004.The band were completed by Bassist Laney 74 and Drummer Spike.
The band incorporates the Huge Chorus'Melodies and Hooklines of Late 80's/Early 90's Hair metal(BonJovi,Warrant,Poison),the Snarly,Snotty attitude of Late 80's punk(D generation,Ramones)and the up to date Image and Production of modern day Powerpop(Lit,Marvelous 3,Butch Walker)to create an exciting High Energy,Fun,Melodic,Poppy,No Holds Barred Kick Ass Rock N'Roll band with just enough relevance to the past but with both eyes set firmly on the future.
Following a year of touring the UK the band released their debut album "Dial It Up" on their own label Trashpit Records in May 2005.The album received rave reviews all over the world and was voted "Album Of The Year" by Powerplay Magazine.Following the release of the album the band toured the UK with the likes of L.A Guns,Vain,Mitch Malloy and Trashlight Vision before heading to the USA to tour the East Coast of America in the summer of 2005.On returning to the UK the band headlined the very first Trashstock Festival in their hometown of Nottingham.The band stayed on the road for the remainder of 2005 building a highly regarded reputation as a real force to be reckoned with on the live circuit thanks to their Arena Rock inspired live performances and killer showmanship.Come February 2006 the band headed out on a month long UK tour with The Dangerfields before entering the studio to record their follow up CD in March.The band played a highly succesful UK tour with The Erotics in May before heading to Ireland for 10 dates in June opening a bunch of shows on Robin Blacks UK tour along the way.The 6 track E.P "Eat Your Heart Out" was released on June 17th 2006,once again to rave reviews.The first track on the CD,the highly infectious singalong anthem "Dont Look At Me Like That" was released as a single and video,following which the band headed once more to America in Late June To join the Metal Sludge East Coast Tour 06' alongside Vains Of Jenna,Tuff and The Erotics.The tour was a huge success and saw the band playing in front of a bunch of their childhood idols in cities such as New York and Philadelphia.The band noticed a significant increase in their U.S fanbase from the previous year mainly down to recieving a decent amount of radio airplay in the States.In September the band Jetted off to Venice,Italy to play the Summerslam Festival before rounding the year out with more shows in the UK.
For the first part of 2007,the band took some well deserved time off to recharge their batteries(all persuing side projects)before regrouping in the Summer of 2007 with new material to take out on the road with the Icelandic band Sign for 2 weeks worth of shows in August,culminating in a sold out show at the Trashstock Festival in Nottingham.The band rounded out the year with a co-headlining UK tour with The Erotics in Oct/Nov.
