There are three bands named The Dash: 1) A punk band from London 2) A rock band from Germany 3) A grunge metal band from Finland 1) The Dash are a London based band who released debut album 'Notes From The Bunker' in October 2010, and followed this up with the split single 'You Can't Please Everyone'/'To Each Other' on limited edition vinyl with Behold A Pale Horse. The band are currently readying the release of a future single and have now been picked up by The Strokes' producer Gordon Raphael who is currently mixing and mastering the tracks. 'Broomhouse Road', the group's debut single through Weekender Records is set for re-release in the near future. They've previously played with Babyshambles, Editors, Biffy Clyro, Sex Pistols' Glen Matlock, Bleech, Gossip, Alphabeat, Robots In Diguise and Black Lips. 2) The Dash were a German rock band formed in 1998 in the low lands of the Rhine, consisting of Oliver laarmanns (guitar/background), Manfred ludewig (bass), Karl schillings (vocals) and Sascha tiebeke (drums/background). They released the 5 track EP "Roundabout" in late 1998.
3) The Dash is a Finnish grunge metal band formed in 2003 consisting of band members: Lauri Koski (vocals, guitar), Jarkko Hassinen (bass, vocals), Tony Suominen (drums) and Samuli Väänänen (guitar).
