There are more than one band with this name......
1. a four piece indie and ska influenced band from Grimsby in England (FOR GIG LISTINGS VISIT www.thefinesthourmusic.com)
2. an american alt/pop punk band from Mansfield, Ohio
1. The Finest Hour are a dynamic quartet from Grimsby who've been winning over music lovers up and down the country over the last year with their thought-provoking lyrics and twin front man approach combined with a strong work ethic that has seen them tour North, South, East and West of England playing more gigs than they can put a number to. It'd be a big number though. Bigger than 7. Much bigger.
2009 saw TFH them bring their indie and ska influenced style to gigs with signed acts such as Neville Staple, Orphan Boy, The Mystery Jets, The Brightlights, Harijan, Chris Helme, The Lights and Zane Lowe - who after watching them proclaimed their set to be "powerful stuff!"
2010 sees them self-release their newest songwriting effort 'Battle Scars', an attack on conformity and fear of individuality of which Andy McKinney of Mindshock writes "It has the melody of a pop song and the rawness and dis-satisfaction of early punk, with no compromise from either side...confronts rather than narates". This is coupled with b-side 'Keep Your Chin Up Kid' a ska tune dealing with the subject of friendship, a firm favourite amongst their ever growing fanbase.
The establishment of The Finest Hour Street Team in late 2009 by a group of fans has aided the bands popularity grow and they can be seen at many gigs handing out flyers and spreading the gospel according to The Finest Hour. An endorsement from Dovetail Guitar Strings and the involvement of Deuce Management and Promotion shows more and more people are becoming interested in TFH.
With much more touring and new recordings planned for the coming year, The Finest Hour's star will continue to rise and they have no plans of letting up whatsoever. As London promoter Non Stop Music pointed out they are "A band with a great future"

2. Energy. Thats all that can be said when one watches The Finest Hour play. Out of Mansfield, Ohio and taking the Midwest by storm. Dueling vocals screaming over atmospheric guitar riffs that will leave you weak in the knees. A live perfomance that will rip off your face and hand it back to you before you knew it was over. Musical chemistry can be felt on stage between the four members, oblivious to those around. Made up of Alex Gabor, Aaron Bard, Nathan Osborne, and Greg Bosko they are breaching the realms of experimental rock, emo, screamo, and alternative. Making music they like, and thats all that matters.
