The Gaa Gaas

The Gaa Gaas are a British indie and post-punk group from Jersey, United Kingdom, active since 2003 and later based in London and Brighton. The band forms after attending a garage punk night called Bomp in St Helier, Jersey.

Their debut single, Voltaire, is produced by James Aparicio, who has worked with Nick Cave and Mogwai, and mixed and mastered by Robert Harder, who has worked with Brian Eno and The Slits. It is released on The Playground Records in 2010.

The group is associated with post-punk, garage punk, garage rock and garage sounds.
