The Montagues were an Indie Pop band from West Yorkshire, North England. The Band consisted of four members, as follows; Lead Singer by the name of Daniel Pybus. Guitarist by the name of Johnny Haynes. Bassist by the name of Jack Winn. Drummer by the name of Blake Hemmingway. In 2006, they wrote, recorded, and released their first Demo by the name of Something About Someone EP. After playing Escobar in January 2007, the band took a short hiatus to complete their new songs. These were recorded at the recently built recording studio at Outwood Grange College. In May 2007, The Montagues announced that they will no longer be making music. 3 of the 4 songs recorded in the Outwood Grange sessions have been put available for free download on their MySpace. Band members are now pursuing new musical projects.
