Female-fronted art-rockers The Neutrinos have drawn comparisons with the likes of PJ Harvey, Nick Cave, Portishead and The Pixies. With Karen Reilly on vocals, Jon Banknote (bass), Mark Travis Howe (guitar) and Simon Bob Morrison on drums, the band blend feminine fury with dark, edgy melancholy and arty guitars. Their influences include Violent Femmes, Stooges, PJ Harvey, Patti Smith and The Pixies. They released their first album, “Sick Love” in 2004 and have enjoyed National radio play by the likes of John Peel and Zoe Ball and were recently featured on BBC6 Music. The latest album, “One Way Kiss” (Wet Nurse Records) was recorded in a disused windmill in Norfolk and has attracted much critical acclaim. “Girlfriend’s Got A Gun” is their new single. They can be found on My Space and at www.neutrinos.co.uk .
