From their myspace: You can save all the cliché, bizarre genre blabber for another bio, because Josh, Jason, Johnny, Dave, and Suggs are easy to classify. You can chunk them straight into the "Melt Your Face Off" genre and go to bed, because that's exactly what they are going to do from dawn to dusk. Chalk it up to sensationalism, but when these beasts of musicians culminate their respective [super-] powers, they are a force to be reckoned with. With The Brothers Nix at them helm, the band is already set apart by a twin set of voices that come at you in stereo. The words "harmony" and "melody" are a disgrace to what those two boys can do with their vocal chords. The Brower Brothers, while a quieter and (comparatively) shorter bunch, know how spice up what the Nixes have been doing for a while now. You would be hard-pressed to find a member of The Roustabouts that wasn't dripping with talent. Each of the four melodic members of the group has had their time as the leader of a band, and it's this dynamic that demonstrates the mastery of the craft that The Roustabouts wield. And then there is fate. Andrew Suggs (Suggsy) might tell you he doesn't have years of drum lessons behind him, but if you hear him play, you probably won’t believe him. The truth is, that Andrew Suggs is probably the reincarnated body of one of the past's greatest drummers (think Krupa, Rich, etc...), because there are computers that are less steady Suggs' right and left hands. He grooves a clean notch into the charismatic blend of instrumentation and vocals, and wraps the entire experience into a tight, well oiled, and wholly energetic climax of sound. The Roustabouts don't throw any punches, despite what the name might imply.
