Energetic Leicester quartet, The Screening, unleash their latest serving of unadulterated indie pop rock with their new single ‘You Look Much Better In The Dark’, through Telescope Records on October 18th. Following on from their past single, ‘Diem’, the band offer up more of their signature brand of catchy, synth-led indie pop. The blazing new single ‘You Look Much Better In The Dark’ sees the tale of waking up with someone quite unexpected unfold through their humorous yet refreshingly truthful lyrics. Already making waves on the Leicester scene, the band have made fans of Steve Lamacq and their hometown hero Tom Meighan of Kasabian, as well as being praised by the music press including the NME and Drowned in Sound. ‘You Look Much Better In The Dark’ saw The Screening work with world-renowned producer Mark Needham (We Are Scientists, Bloc Party, The Killers. The band will head out to LA once more to work alongside him and finish off their debut album, ‘We’d All Better Learn How To Swim’ expected in March 2011. In support of their latest single, the Leicester boys will be taking to the road for a series of UK dates.
