The Skeptics were: Anthony DiSanto - Guitar & Vox, Robbie Kapitzky - Guitar & Vox, Bryce Dooley - Drums, Kevin Vance - Bass. They disbanded on May 6th, 2006, playing their final show at Pearl Street in Northampton, MA. The first recordings were done by one man in his shed at the back of his house. It is said this was done under the will of a malevolent spirit who visited Bart in his dreams , was this a deal that was offered in much the same way as it was to Robert Johnson at the crossroads?. The skeptics now a trio release a single in 2009 called you make me sick. In 2012 they release file under fuzz punk a fourteen track album that contains songs from the early singles and six unreleased songs. This was followed by a split 7" with lady banana in 2013 along with a split cs with white ass and the release of their album black, lonely and blue. Not to be confused with the Skeptics from New Zealand, Flying Nun band in late 80's. . Also not to be confused with the Garage band from Oklahoma who put out at least four singles from 1966-1968, whose song "Turn It On" was later recycled by T. Rex as "Get It On." Also not to be confused with the Frederick, Maryland 80's punk band consisting (variably) of Andy McCutcheon, Stephen Blickenstaff, Dennis Crolley, Ben Steen, Kevin Sefsic.
