The Sum Of are based near Bude in The South West, They are a four piece alternative Rock Band consisting of Ralf Salf (Vocals), John Bluett (Guitar), Wes Hutchinson (Bass and Keyboards), and Paul Feasey (Drums). Their music is written as a co-operative meaning that each member gets a chance to explore their influences making all their shows exciting and dynamic. "Our influences are diverse, and our outlook is open, not wishing to be tied to a genre or style, we experiment with time signatures, format and dynamics to produce something that is satisfying to play and also to listen to." TSO In the last two years The Sum Of have gained a loyal fan base, following the release of their debut album and many high profile gigs including The Leopallooza festival, the Relentless Boardmasters surf festival, the Quicksilver British surf championship and no less than 5 South west Battle of the bands competition wins. The Legendary sound engineer John Cornfield recently described the band “Like having Rage against the machine playing in St Austell….”, and they will be going into record their new EP with him before the year is out. After a mini tour of Holland and shows in London, Bath, Bristol, Leamington Spa, Hastings to name a few, expect to see them in a town or City near you in 2012.
