The Supernovas are a young 4-piece from the Holloway Road, in North London. They have been playing together since the tender age of 16, tearing up stages the length and breadth of the country. Memorable performances include shows at The Garage, Rhythm Factory, The Marquee and Bournemouth Opera House. In their time together they have played alongside Babyshambles, The Others, Infadels, The Holloways and Larrikin Love, to name but a few. In January 2009 the band signed with 360 Degree Music. Their sound is often likened to that of The Buzzcocks and The Jam, and their influences include the political attitudes of Castro and Chavez, combined with the wry irony of Morrissey, and the cutting observational skills of Lennon.
