Thickets

Thickets is a London-based British alt-folk trio active since 2012. The group consists of Rebecca Lavery on vocals and autoharp, Gemma Mitchell on cello and vocals, and Kieran Lavery on drums.

Style and influences

The band works in an alternative folk style and draws influence from Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, PJ Harvey, Cocteau Twins, Queens of the Stone Age, Leonard Cohen, The Decemberists, Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan, and CocoRosie.
