Spawned out of the fiery depths of the University of Delaware underground, Tweed is the psychedelic combination dream melting jam, rock, electronic, and experimental music elements. Guitarists AJ DiBiase and Jon Tomczak bring shredding riffs and groovy vibes, while bassist Paul Braden drops Chernobyl-style nuclear bass-bombs, and drummer Joe Vela meticulously formulates rhythm-induced warfare. The four joined forces in the Fall of 2010 and although young, Tweed’s music inspires and excites, fueled from lyrics provoked by experience and emotion. The group’s chemistry is evident, as they tear up stages with stellar performance and style. Their collaboration can take the listeners from multi-layered visions through the psyche to sweaty, raging dance parties driven by their own incessant beat… 2) Tweed was a French mod-influenced power pop/rock n roll band. They released only two singles, both in 1979. The first was a three song 7" released through SMAP with the lead track "Fashion" , and the latter was the single tune "Collection de Choix" distributed by Tonic Records. Although mainstream success eluded the group, they've since had a cult following among fans of the underground mod/beat revival scene spearheaded by outfits like The Jam.
