Cambridge brothers Sam Halliday and Jack Halliday have been writing and playing music together since college. When they finished their college courses, Sam and Jack decided it was time to let their passion for music loose and so the two lads put their university education on ice to pursue their dreams. Soon after they made contact with rtb management, who on hearing a couple of their demo tracks signed them to a management deal to help further their careers. Within just a couple of weeks in October 2008 Sam and Jack were introduced to Son Studios in White Notley, Essex where they met Sonny Watson-Lang, who had agreed to session for them on drums and percussion for a 4 track EP. In just a week the first mixes were sounding awesome. Everyone was totally thrilled with the outcome. Sonny(18) was soon convinced to join the band. After much deliberation Twenty Twenty was decided as a name for the band by the 3 boys and then were straight back in the studio to record a whole collection of tracks - 14 in fact. Since then, they have gone on several headline tours and supported the likes of Mcfly, Selena Gomez and Scouting For Girls. They also played a show at the O2 Arena on the 13th July 2010 with The Saturdays, Ironik, Eliza Doolittle, The Wanted and Tinchy Stryder. According to the Love To Life Songfacts, Twenty Twenty released their first official single World's Apart on July 4, 2010, which reached #72 in the UK singles chart.
