Val Marshall is a British an acoustic/folk/country singer-songwriter and musician. She started songwriting and playing at Open Mics and Festivals on her own city of Hull in c.2004. Her first self released CD entitled "IF I HAD MY TIME AGAIN" came out in January 2007 and her 2nd CD called "LOVE'S GHOST" was launched on April 8th 2008, both CDs receiving airplay on the Bob Harris Radio 2 show. She has supported many artists across the UK, including Pete Rowan, Corinne West, Pete Molinari, Great Lake Swimmers, Gina Villalobos, Deadstring Brothers, Ethan Daniel Davidson, Angie Palmer, Clive Gregson, Derrin Nauendorf, Tom Hingley, Eleanor McEvoy and Rachel Harrington. Val regularly does gigs and festivals in Leeds, York, Hull and Sheffield area.
