A bludgeoning union of metal and hardcore, We, the Undersigned strives to aggressively displace the status quo. Fully formed in Fredericton, NB during 2007, WTU's music has been described as being "rousing, high energy and delightfully gritty" (Nightwaves Online Zine). With soaring vocals, hip shakin’ grooves, and cutting, stigmata inducing guitars, this sound fears only the derivative. We, the Undersigned kicked-off the year by headlining a wall-to-wall crowd at the first ever East-Coast Music Award Heavy Metal Showcase along with other established rockers, like "Iron Giant" and "Orchid's Curse". A week later, WTU was invited to share the stage with "Protest the Hero" for the New Brunswick portion of their tour. These shows enabled WTU to reveal new compositions to the masses alongside redesigned band t-shirts, and to welcome newcomer, Brandon Larocque, into the WTU family. We, the Undersigned has played with other notable acts, such as "Cancer Bats", "The End", and "Ten Second Epic"--further building upon an extensive east-coast following; in August 2007, their first major, self-financed tour took the boys to Quebec and Ontario. Having shared a cramped van with Fredericton's "Rusted Dawn" for two weeks, their nosebuds have been permanently sheered off by the constant supply of convenience-store induced taco farts; it's no wonder, then, that WTU invested one hundred and fifty thousand pennies into their very own tour van, hence christiened "Mr. Greygore", in preparation for their biggest tour yet scheduled for March-April 2008.
