Yasmin Williams (raised in northern Virginia) is an American finger-style composer and guitarist. She plays guitar, harp-guitar, and other instruments (such as kalimba) in solo performances, often with the instrument on her lap. Her debut album, "Serendipity" was self-released in 2012, as was her follow-up album, "Unwind" in 2018. Her third album, "Urban Driftwood" was released on Spinster in 2021. The songs on the album were written in 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown and were influenced by the Black Lives Matter protests during that year.
