"Your Army don't just take to the stage, they conquer it with a performance full of wild energy, sending their audience away in a frenzy". The four piece formed in 2007 and now combines an organically grown group of equally talented and diverse, full-blooded musicians. The band is sexy and urban yet nonetheless credible to the core. Your Army are Lucy Caffrey on vocals, Chris Skelly on guitar, Andy Hollick on the drums and Simon Key on the bass. In the course of numerous, enthusiastically received live-gigs, the band made it to the stage of the legendary Isle of Wight Festival in 2009 and 2010. Apart from the numerous headline shows, Your Army have also appeared as the opening band to established artists such as Feeder and We are Scientists, which, for the first time, placed them into the limelight of commercial music. Consequently Your Army joined up with Intono Records in October 2011 in order to record their debut album. This album was produced by Ace, guitarist and founding member Skunk Anansie and recorded and mixed under the technical guidance of Willi Dammeier at the Institut für Wohlklangforschung in Germany. Following the release of their first single "No Good", Your Army's debut album "Ignite" is set to be released January 2013.
