She has performed at a range of different events and venues, locally, nationally and internationally. Festivals include Shambala, Bloom and Bristol Vegan Fayre and Marsatac, Marseille. In 2009 she released her debut album with Tom McAllister " An Exercise in Scales and Balances" After playing with rhyme over Rock, Drum and Bass over a few years. Zion Flex at 16, got into the studio to create a track along side "Roots Manuva" at part to the cr8 project, the song was called "Change the Way". What started as freestyle with singing over ambient, jump off and breakbeat quickly diversified. Zion Flex started to collaborate with hip-hop crews in the south west of England "Dutty Girl" "Project 13" and "Kutlective" Forever a nomad Zion Flex sings and raps, constantly experimenting hypnotic vocal styles with rhyme to create synergy a variety of music genres. Flex's influences spans from old Black spirituals, roots music and jazz to trip- hop, folk, classical, hip-hop and pop and cannot be defined by one genre alone. Zion Flex gathers her inspiration from every aspect of life.
