UK Festival Guides have teamed up with the lovely people at Deer Shed festival to give yourself and your family the chance to attend the fantastic Deer Shed Festival on the 22nd to 24th of July. The prize includes two adult and two child passes for the entire weekend!
Deer Shed Festival is a small, independent festival run by a family for the family where the youngest festival-goer will get just as much out of it as their parents. An alternative to the “in it for the long haul” experience that many of the large, corporate and expensive family-orientated festivals have become. A family of four can attend for less than £150, the same price as an adult weekend ticket for many of those big family offerings out there. Concentrated programme of three diverse days and not just back-to-back music – there will be cabaret, arts, sports and crafts too with only a full music programme across all stages on the middle day. A Sky At Night theme in honour of headliners I Am Kloot sees a pop-up planetarium, star-gazing, space hopping, plasticine and papier mache lunarscapes and something being launched space-bound if the Civil Aviation Authority give it the thumbs up. A kid-friendly camping festival in the North of England that does not compromise on line-up quality. In just their second year, Deer Shed Festival promises to be one of the best festivals of 2011.
Some of the artists playing this year include I Am Kloot, The Go! Team, Frankie & The Heartstrings, The Leisure Society, Erland and The Carnival, Caitlin Rose, Admiral Fallow and many more. For the full lineup please

That’s not all though, for the kids there is so much to do, including Softball, football, swingball, hula hoops, sand pit, doodle wall, paintball art, graffiti workshops and ukulele lesson to name just a few. Parents if you ask your children nicely they may let you join in the fun to!
