The one-day music festival is held across Reading town centre venues and previous festival guests include Ezra Furman, Dan Le Sac, John Kennedy (XFM), Pulled Apart By Horses, I Am Giant, God Damn, Smoke Fairies, Sundara Karma and many more.
Apart from raising awareness and funds for the charity, the festival will continue to support the local music scene from the grass roots level upwards. It is a policy of the festival to ensure at least 70% of the artist bookings are from Reading and the Berkshire area. It will also continue to provide Reading students and the local community with valuable, hands-on work experience in areas including music event / project management, branding, marketing and photography. Over 70 volunteers help Are You Listening? Festival run smoothly and the organisers would love to hear from anyone interested in getting involved!
