BASS Festival celebrates black music culture and explores it from many different angles. BASS stands for British Art and Street Sounds and it will take place across a range of venues in Birmingham. It is celebrating its 11th anniversary in 2016 and this means there will be plenty of special events and one-off exclusives. It runs throughout November from 10th until 26th in particular.
BASS 16 brings many fantastic and recognisable acts to the city of Birmingham. The confirmed events include DJ Jazzy Jeff at Lab11 on 10th November, DJ Semtex Q&A at Six Eight Kafe on 26th November and Robert Glasper at the Town Hall on 20th November. There are many more individual events which celebrate black culture in Birmingham and beyond.
