Bristol’s biggest and most famous free event is returning to the city for its 45th year from 15th until 17th July. As the name suggests it takes over the harbourside of the city and brings in hundreds of thousands of visitors taking part and enjoying everything from life music to children’s activities and a programme on the water as well as land.
No line-up has been announced yet but music and live acts will take place on the Queen Square stage, Cascade Steps, the Thekla stage, Louisiana, Bristol Plays Music Bandstand Grain Barge, and SS Great Britain.
The festival has a real focus on family-friendly activities including a dedicated family and children’s area.
