Broadstairs Folk Week is a town based festival that started in 1965 and happens throughout various venues in the seaside town of Broadstairs, Kent.  It contains a wide variety of folk and roots from traditional to samba as well as blues and Cajun music.  Typically there are over 500 events to choose from including gigs, concerts, dances, workshops, sessions, children's events, storytelling and poetry.
