Carnival Fifty Six is a brand new festival for 2017. It was conceived in all the ambiguity and uncertainty that the 2016 political changes have caused and in organising the festival, Loudsound the festival managers, hope to add a bit of entertainment and enjoyment to the calendar. Carnival Fifty Six Festival will take place on 12th and 13th August 2017 and it will take place at Camperdown Park in Dundee.
Carnival Fifty Six Festival has no acts confirmed but there will be main stage, a big top tent and a VIP area, as well as plenty of bars and food concessions. It will be the first major music festival in the city since the 2006 BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend.
