Furness Tradition Festival

Furness Tradition Festival is back in 2016 for its 17th year and it will be taking place from 8th until 10th July and it will be taking place in Ulverston in Cumbria.

There is an almost full line-up confirmed for Furness Tradition 2016 and the acts already announced include: Ross Couper and Tom Oakes, Bryony Griffith and Will Hampson, Bridget Marsden and Leif Ottosson, Laura Smyth and Ted Kemp, Siobhan Miller, Striding Edge, Tumbling Tom, Wierdstring Band, Stooshie, Furness Tradition Community Band, Ian Douglas, Dominic Kelly, Mark Borthwick, Katherine Soutar Caddick, Thieving Magpie, Rainbow Morris, Redcar Sword Dancers, Hornbeam Molly, Bradshaw Mummers, Cricket on the Hearth, Crook Morris, Furness Clog Dancers, Carlisle Clog and Sword Dancers and Furness Morris.

The festival has a family-friendly atmosphere and it also incorporates storytelling, music sessions, dancing and fun participatory workshops.
