The focus for Hit the North is on new music, whether that’s from established bands with new releases, or from brand new artists just stepping out into the world. This will be the third edition of the festival which runs from 3-5 May across 12 Newcastle city centre venues and features over 120 artists.
Friday and Saturday is Party Night at the Boiler Shop and Think Tank with headliners Metronomy and Sundara Karma. Saturday is the chance to catch masses of new and upcoming artists right across the city , culminating with the Sunday concert headlined this year by Jake Bugg, who will be joined by Tom Grennan, Blaenaven, Catherine McGrath, Lauren Aquilina, Ten Tonnes, The Blinders, The Mouse Outfit and many more.
Located at various venues across Newcastle.
There are no camping options for this event.
