House Festival
There’s always something for everyone on the House Festival bill and this year is no exception… we’re delighted with the diverse array of artists gearing up to appear in Richmond.
Electro-pop lords the Pet Shop Boys are our headliners this summer, all set to wow the House Festival crowd with some of their 22 top 10 hits. Able support comes in the shape of chameleonic stadium dance favourites Rudimental and indie titans The Vaccines. Some recent chart-toppers are present and correct too - behatted songsmith of the moment James Bay, and dance-pop trio Years & Years have all landed number ones in recent months.
Elsewhere on the bill we’ll once again be in the presence of greatness when funk and soul empress Chaka Khan takes the stage…she’s won 10 Grammy Awards you know.
There’s more. We’ve got the breezy indie-pop kids Echosmith, a dose of polished drama from Foxes and some bluesy punk courtesy of Tunbridge Wells duo, Slaves. Some newer names worth keeping an eye on in the coming months - singer-songwriter Jack Garratt, sensual soul band Honne, spoken word rhapsodist George The Poet and Scottish art rockers White - complete the bill.
