Long Division Festival

A small festival which takes over the venues of Wakefield every year, the Long Division Festival was launched by the fanzine Rhubarb Bomb in 2011. Since then it has brought some truly huge names to Wakefield and given the city an opportunity to showcase its many venues whilst also celebrating independent music and culture and the spirit of DIY.

2015 is Long Division’s 5th year and it will once again be taking place across a wide range of venues across Wakefield from 12th to 14th June. Acts confirmed include British Sea Power, Ash, Pulled Apart By Horses, Fat White Family, Withered Hand, Rozi Plain, Tuff Love, Her Name is Calla, Tom Williams, Crybabycry, Sam Airey, Algernon Doll, The Incredible Magpie Band, Seazoo, Forever Cult, Thomas Wilby Gang, NARCS, The Do's, The Fur Blend, Bi:Lingual, Charlie Padfield, Kleine Schweine, Loz Campbell, Future Of The Left, Gentlemans Pistols, Sweet Baboo, Allusondrugs, Novella, Hyde & Beast, Matt Abbott, Womps, Polo, Crystal Seagulls, Dead Party Scene, Hands Off Gretel and many more.
