Love Summer Festival

We are back at Newnham Park Showground, Devon, PL75BN in August for our 7th Festival. Our Theme for 2018 Will Be – COSMIC – (OUT OF THIS WORLD)

A Clean, Safe, Fun, Family Event in a Secret South Devon Meadow. Created by Festival Families for Festival Families. Now in our 7th Year. Probably the Best Value Family Festival Experience you can get! The days are all about fun, funk, live music and hazy summer dayz…. The evenings are all about the Parteeeee!!!!!

In 2017 we upped our Numbers and our Production Quality. However in 2018 there will be NO INCREASE IN SIZE, but expect another HUGE jump in ENTERTAINMENT PROVISION. There will be a small increase in admission charge to cover this as we feel Value for Money in Festival Production should be met in all respects.

Love Summer Festival is not your average Festival we aim to provide a unique, relaxed and above all Value for Money experience for everyone. We are a family orientated event with loads for children but are fully open to everyone and if you want to spend your days learning new skills or chilling out to some great live music you’ve come to the right place, a few things to remember about LOVE SUMMER FESTIVAL:-

We do not operate a Bar on site, campers bring their own. Please remember No Glass & we are very near civilisation so you don’t need to bring loads.

We think it’s important that most of our activities, particularly for the children are included in the admission price. 

We have a diverse range of entertainment and ideas, with a chance to experience something NEW

Yes you can bring the dog and the caravan (see Caravan/Camper Tickets)

We have fully plumbed flushing loos and you can even book a private loo with a key on our Glamping Page

We have an awesome market and more Artisan Food Traders than you can shake a stick at

We are easily accessible by Public Transport and there is a Bus every hour from Plymouth Railway Station

We have an amazing range of Glamping Packages at affordable prices so all you need to bring is your tootbrush and maybe a few beers!

Our campsite is flat and has good access so makes life a little easier for the mobility impaired, if anyone needs a little help in this regard please get in touch at info@lovesummerfestival.com

Most of all we do this with LOVE, when we first started going to Festivals it was about being together, laughing together and looking after each other. We have tried to sew these values into the fabric of our event and we hope you enjoy it, we do! 

Once again we will be on 0ur beautiful Green & Lush Devon Meadow complete with a lovely River and beautiful woods. We are planning NOT to increase numbers this year, there will only be 1000 Adult Invites available on a strictly first come first served basis. We will again be operating on a complete Value For Money (VFM) Basis and the Standard Ticket Price will be set at £75 , we have increased it a little as we think you enjoyed having some Headline Performers and we are currently looking at some Exciting Acts for 2018 and would like to give you all something really special.

In 2017 we expanded our children’s entertainment for all our Little Lovers and also our on-site Medical Cover, this will continue and we think it would also be great to try and include a budget for some Showers! As I am sure you appreciate all these things cost money but we feel the cost still represents great value as you would struggle to just camp in Devon for that price in August!

Our theme for 2018 is COSMIC “Out of this world” – So you can expect anyone from Dr Who to Flash Gordon camped next to you. As ever the Days will be about our Children, Cultural Diversity & Fun our Nights will be Party, Party & a bit more Party, case you haven’t had enough.

We will be operating 5 venues again this year!. Expect some of our finest Local Crews & Collectives together with incoming Sounds From The City. We will be listing performers and acts over the coming months and please remember most of the performers are taking part for your CASH they are doing it for the Love Of Party and for You! We would be nowhere without our performers and are always blown away by the quality of the acts that are prepared to give time out in coming to perform for us B I G R E S P E C T to you all. 2018 will see a very small invite charge increase to £75 for a Full Weekend Adult Camping Ticket, Children (i.e.6-12) £30 & Teenagers will be £40 (i.e.13-17), 5’s & under are free, this will enable us to have dedicated budgets set aside to ensure entertainment is provided across all age ranges at a high level. 

2018 will also see us expanding our Workshops further and also our secluded and shady Wellbeing Field for some early morning Yoga or Tai Chi so anyone who would like to come and get involved or simply sell their wares you can contact us at info@lovesummerfestival.com we can accommodate most things and are extremely amenable to anyone looking for a job in the “Bright Ideas Department”.
