Until 2004, Lytham St Annes was the home of a promenade concert every summer, which soon developed into the Proms in 2010. By 2011, it became a three-day event, and then, in 2015, it became an eight-day celebration in August, with its name changed from Lytham Proms to Lytham Festival—venues across the city, including Lytham Green.
