Maryport Blues Festival
Back for its 18th year the Maryport Blues Festival takes over three specified venues in the town and delivers the finest blues music around. It has three stages the Main Stage by the marina, the Outdoor Stage at Elizabeth Dock and The Trail which is a collection of pubs and venues which all play host to bands for the blues weekends.
Although the line-up hasn’t yet been announced it will include around 40 bands and as many as 150 individual musicians who will bring the sound of the blues to this Cumbrian coastal town.
As well as the music there are plenty of other things going on including workshops, a DJ room, a visual arts area, a film programme and a dedicated children’s festival.
