Northern Green Gathering

Northern Green Gathering is a four day camping event on an Organic Farm in Derbyshire Dales and has been running since 1998, powered by wind and solar energy.

With the green element of the festival truly at its heart the Northern Green Gathering offers everything from fantastic live music as well as crafts, cafes, children’s activities, a healing area and permaculture.

Using only renewable energy the Northern Green Gathering offers up an impressive range of activities and entertainment for festival goers of all ages. The festival is designed to be family friendly and as well as lots of fun and as well as the main music stage there are plenty of other activities to enjoy. The festival has a wide range of craft workshops as well as a children’s area and cafes offering organic food.

The festival is also known for its camp ball and the chance to truly get into the community party spirit. The festival has grown considerably since its first year and now in 2015 welcomes more guests than ever before.

Northern Green Gathering has a unique appeal and character and is very different from the average festival. They involve everyone in being an active participant. People of all ages and interests have the chance to enjoy, learn and contribute. Northern Green believes in working together to make a positive change in our own lives and those of future generations.
