What started out as a humble one-day affair in De Montfort Hall Gardens in 2001 held over two stages, headlined by Morcheeba and featuring just 14 bands has now grown to be a highlight of the festival calendar. With more than 100 acts performing on five stages over three days, from big-name headliners, well-established classic acts to new bands on the verge of hitting the big time. This year will be be as diverse and exciting as ever, with highlights from Mumford & Sons, Tinchy Stryder, The Fall, The Futureheads, Local Natives and Laura Veirs. What ever takes your fancy there is plenty to do for everyone live comedy, a film tent, silent disco, The Garden chill-out area with traditional seaside theme, top quality food and drink, quiet family campsites, craft and clothing stalls in The Village, the acclaimed Kidzone to keep younger festivalgoers happy, and with the location being in the City Centre its easily located with plenty of parking and a rarity for a festival - CLEAN toilets!
