1 September - 30 September 2016
Launched in 1997 as The Mayor’s Thames Festival, the celebration along the banks of London’s river is now known at Totally Thames. It is a celebration of local arts and culture and has become known as London’s largest free open air festival. It is a day packed with family fun as well as music, talks, walks along the riverside and plenty of boats.
There is no line-up for 2016 as yet but visitors can expect over 150 events both on and off the water and something taking place every one of the 42 miles of the river. The festival lasts the whole of September so there are plenty of opportunities to get involved with the action.
