6 October - 08 October 2017
Started in 2000, the Ullapool Guitar Festival is now in its 17th year and anyone who has participated or visited this festival will tell you why it has been so popular since its inception. It's a combination of the new and old, acoustic and electric, nylon and steel the beginners and seasoned performers who gather. Not to mention the stunning location on the banks of the sublimely beautiful Loch Broom and the surrounding Scottish scenery. On top of all that, it has a very informal feel from start to finish, with no VIP area so famed performers and festivalgoers can mingle and even play together at one of the trade stands at the coinciding Trade Show that also takes place over the weekend.
