Another of Butlins' Big Weekend events, the We Love The 70's at the Minehead resort does pretty much what it says on the tin. It is a nostalgic trip down memory lane for anyone with a fondness for the 70's and the stars who soundtracked that special era. Butlins Minehead
There is a wide range of chalets, apartments and rooms that provide you with great value for money, and as the event is taking place at the resort, not only is the accomodation included in the ticket price, but it is close to where all the action is taking place. This makes travelling to and from events a breeze.
Car
If you are heading north to Butlins in Minehead, the easiest route is to take the M5 towards Taunton (Junction 25) and then take the A358 and A39 to head to Minehead.
If you are heading southwards, the easiest route is to follow the singposts for the A39 from Junction 24. The resort is easy to find and is only about half a mile from the town centre, along the road that runs along the seafront. Parking at the resort is free.
NB. It is advised that you avoid Junction 23 at the Bridgwater Dunball that leads to Bristol Road as there will be major disruptions due to road works throughout 2017.
Train
The closest railway station to the resort is Taunton. Southern NAtional run a bus transfer service between Taunton and Minehead.
Coach
If you are travelling by National Express, your coach will stop at the main entrance to the resort.
