In 2014 Wee Dub Festival hosted a series of sessions across various underground venues in Edinburgh’s Old Town, covering a significant amount of the dub-reggae musical spectrum.
All of the venues at which Wee Dub Festival takes place are within walking distance from eachother, situated in the centre of Edinburgh. With a wealth of hostels and hotels in the area, it is an easy event to travel to from afar – previous editions have attracted punters from across the UK and Europe.
The Wee Dub Festival launched in 2011 as a one night one venue event at Studio 24 in Edinburgh, with Vibronics headlining.
In 2012 the event took a giant leap forward, expanding to a whole weekend and featuring 5 sessions, with a programme that included Zion Train, Mad Professor, Dub Mafia, Radikal Guru and many more. 2013 saw performances from Jinx In Dub, Dreadsquad, Prince Fatty, Mungo’s Hi-Fi & YT, Laid Blak and many more.
