Whitby Folk Week

The Whitby Folk Week is an annual folk festival that takes place across multiple venues in and around the North Yorkshire coastal town of Whitby.  This year's festival takes place over one week from the 17th August to the 23rd of August and boasts over 600 events such as workshops, concerts, singarounds, dances, sessions, street entertainment and some other 'fringe' events.  Almost every venue in town is in use – from small pubs to the 1000-person capacity Whitby Pavilion.
